Air-Operated Double Diaphragm Pump, Plastic Body

Air-operated double diaphragm pump with a moulded plastic body, chosen where the pumped liquid would attack metal or where a metal housing would contaminate the product. Because the pump is driven by compressed air rather than a motor there is no shaft seal to leak, and it can be dead-headed against a closed valve without a bypass line. The two diaphragm chambers are bolted between the end covers and the centre housing, with the air valve block mounted in the middle and a push-in fitting on the air inlet. Thick moulded feet at the base allow floor or plinth mounting without a separate bracket. Flow is set simply by opening or closing the air supply, so the same unit can be run slowly for dosing or fully open for transfer. Typical duties include chemical transfer, plating lines, waste handling and batch dosing.
