Product detail
A door security chain in 304 stainless steel that lets a door open a hand's width for checking a caller while the chain still holds it. The long plate slides on a mushroom-headed stud and the short plate carries a keyhole slot, so the chain can be hooked on from inside and released in one movement. Both plates are screw fixed with four screws supplied, which suits timber and composite doors without cutting a pocket. The chain links are welded and the plates are finished in brushed silver, so the set keeps its colour on entrance doors, hotel room doors, apartment doors and service counters where plated steel would go dull. Because the fixings go straight into the door face and frame, the chain can be retrofitted to an existing door in minutes with a drill and a screwdriver. Supplied as a complete set with mounting screws.
