A 4-inch air orbital sander with a 100 mm hook-and-loop pad for paint preparation, primer flattening, blend panels and fine finishing on wood, composites and metal. Air drive keeps the tool light and cool in continuous use, and the low-profile body sits close to the work so edges and curved panels are easier to follow than with a taller electric sander. The lever throttle gives proportional speed control, and the rear exhaust can be fitted with a hose to keep oil mist away from fresh paint. A 1/4-inch air inlet runs from a standard workshop compressor at 6.3 bar, and the pad takes standard 100 mm abrasive discs. The rubber overmould insulates the hands from cold metal in an unheated shop. Suited to body shops, furniture refinishers, boat yards and anyone sanding where an electric motor is a risk.
