A nine-inch combination plier with a bent head. The jaws sit at an angle to the handles rather than in line with them, which lets the hand stay clear of a flat surface while the jaws reach into a corner, along a wall or down inside a panel. The gripping faces are serrated for pulling and twisting, a cutter sits behind the jaw for soft wire and cable, and the pivot is a single forged joint that keeps the jaws aligned under load. The handles carry two-tone moulded grips with a wide black panel, so the tool can be found by feel in a bag and the grip stays secure with an oily hand. At nine inches the plier has enough leverage to work stubborn fixings while still fitting into a toolbox tray. Used by electricians, plumbers and fitters for gripping, bending, twisting and cutting on installation and maintenance work. A plier for working inside a stud bay or behind a pipe, where the offset head keeps the knuckles clear of the surface.
