A flat-oval aluminium hanging rod for wardrobes, closets and cabinet interiors, supplied in 6 metre lengths that cut down to the exact span of the opening. The 29.5 x 15 mm oval profile is slim enough to sit inside a shallow cabinet yet broad enough to carry a full rail of coats, and the flattened face gives a wide bearing surface for hanger hooks. Wall thickness is 0.65 mm, so the rod holds its line under a loaded rail rather than dipping in the middle. The brushed silver finish wipes clean and hides finger marks in a hallway closet. Side-mount flange brackets take the rod at each end, which suits built-in wardrobes where there is no ceiling fixing to work from. One length covers several standard closets, and the offcuts still make useful short rails for pantries, laundry cupboards, cloakrooms or retail display units, so very little of the length is wasted on site. Supplied as a length a fitter cuts on site, so an odd wardrobe span is covered without ordering a made-to-measure rail.
