An automatic chalk line reel that snaps a straight reference line across a floor, wall or sheet in one pull. The line pays out, the hook holds the far end, and lifting the line leaves a crisp chalk mark; the rewind dial then winds it back without the loose coil that makes a hand-wound reel tangle. The ink chamber opens for a refill of powder and the cap seals so chalk does not leak into a tool bag. A fixing pin at the nose lets one person anchor the end into a timber or plaster surface and work alone, which saves a second pair of hands on layout work. The body is moulded in ABS with a rubberised grip band and a belt hook. Suits carpenters, drywall installers, tilers, decking crews and anyone marking parallel lines, stud positions, tile courses or cut lines before a saw or drill goes anywhere near the material.
