The faceplate and handle are produced in 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish that hides fingerprints and wipes clean, and the thickened grip is shaped for frequent use. The latch is damped with a rubber buffer and a silent bolt, so doors close firmly without the bang that carries through a tiled room. Because the lock is non-handed, one part number covers left and right opening doors, and the handle can be set to the required side on site. Two hole spacings, 110 mm and 125 mm, along with five latch backsets from 30 to 50 mm, let a single line fit most existing door preparations.
