Handheld cutting machine for tile, stone and chasing work where dust has to be kept down. A 1650 W motor drives the blade through the base plate, and the dust port on top takes the supplied bag, so most of the cutting dust is collected at the source instead of settling over the room. The base plate rides flat on the tile or panel to hold a straight line, and the guard covers the blade above the work. Because the machine is carried to the cut rather than the tile being carried to a bench saw, it suits bathroom and kitchen refurbishment, shopfitting and any job where a bench saw will not fit through the doorway. The blade is not included, so the buyer matches the disc to the material being cut. Supplied with a dust bag, two carbon brushes, a scale ruler and a wrench for routine maintenance.
