Folding wall bracket in carbon steel that carries a worktop or shelf in the raised position and then drops flat against the wall when the space is needed back. Releasing the twin-slot lock lets the arm fold down, and pressing it back up locks the arm square at 90 degrees, so a bench, a serving counter or a tidy shelf can be cleared without unbolting anything. A thickened spring and a two-stage damping action on the wider variants slow the arm near the end of its travel instead of letting it drop. The baked paint finish takes workshop and kitchen wear. Sizes run from 12 to 24 inch and the wider versions carry a claimed 1000 jin. Useful for garages, laundry rooms, van conversions, market stalls and any room where a fixed shelf would be in the way some of the time. Fixing screws are supplied.
