Heavy-Duty Solid Stainless Steel Door Bolt (Thickened Core)

Heavy-duty surface door bolt built from stainless steel around a solid, thickened core rather than a hollow tube, so the barrel resists prying and bending under load. The core is upsized and the plate is reinforced, which raises both the pull-out and the lever-out resistance of the fixing. The bolt throws upward into the keep and then seats sideways into the plate, giving a two-stage mechanical lock that stays put when the door is knocked or forced. An enlarged, rounded handle makes the throw easy to work by hand, and the smooth body has no deep grooves that could chew the door face during fitting. Surfaces are electroplated for corrosion resistance and come in bright gold, matte black, brushed silver, red bronze and green bronze. Available in 1.5 inch to 4 inch lengths for wooden doors, gates and outbuildings.
