Large curved scraper knife in stainless steel with a wide arc-shaped blade and a soft grip handle, made for moving volume rather than for fine filling: stripping wallpaper, lifting floor covering, scraping render and plaster, cleaning formwork and shifting dried adhesive from a flat surface. The 17.5 cm blade edge is curved so the effort concentrates in the middle of the stroke and the corners stay off the surface, which protects both the wall and the tool. At 0.82 mm the blade slides under a film of material yet takes a firm push without folding, and the stainless steel body will not rust or discolour the surface being worked. The handle is a black and yellow rubber and plastic composite with a shaped grip that keeps the hand behind the blade and a hole for hanging. Overall length is 26 cm with a 15 cm handle, long enough to be used two-handed on stubborn material.
