Product detail

A long masonry core bit for drilling through a finished wall to pass a pipe, a cable or a vent. The cutter head is 35 mm across, the overall length is 330 mm and the usable working depth is 58 mm, enough to break through a single-skin brick or block wall and reach the cavity behind it. The shank is square, so the bit seats in a rotary hammer without a separate adapter, and the open barrel clears dust as the hole is cut. The cutter is intended for foam block, mixed brick, red brick and concrete block, and it is run dry without water. A pair of knitted gloves is supplied with the bit, which matters because the cut leaves a sharp, gritty edge on the outside face of the wall where the hand goes to steady the drill. Used for air-conditioning and extractor ducts. A cutter for running a vent or conduit through a brick wall, where the open barrel clears dust as the hole is cut.
