Solid Rubber Non-Bounce Installation Mallet

Installation mallet built around a three layer shock absorbing structure: an internal steel ball, a one-piece steel frame and a solid oil-resistant rubber head. The head and shaft are formed in a single injection moulding pass, so the rubber wraps the steel core continuously and the head cannot work loose or fly off the way a pressed-on rubber head can. The food-grade oil-resistant rubber striking face is flat and uniform, which spreads impact evenly and protects tiles, laminate flooring, furniture edges and painted surfaces from dents. The head will not deform or go hard with age and copes with oily environments such as kitchen and bathroom fit-outs. A TPR dual-colour over-grip adds a soft anti-slip layer on top of the high-strength solid steel shaft, keeping the mallet secure in gloved or oily hands. Four weight options are available at 1 lb, 1.5 lb, 2 lb and 3 lb, with overall lengths from 320mm to 370mm and net weights from 0.88kg to 1.50kg; the 3 lb model measures 370 x 125 x 60mm at 1.5kg. Aimed at flooring, tiling, furniture assembly and window and door fitting work where a controlled, low-rebound strike is needed.
