280 mm Stainless Steel Flat Connector Plate with Slotted Holes

Flat stainless steel connector plate for joining, reinforcing or splicing timber and board panels where a straight joint needs backing that a corner bracket cannot give. At 280 mm long, 24 mm wide and 3 mm thick it spans across the joint rather than sitting in one corner, and the two slotted holes allow the plate to be positioned and tensioned after the panels are aligned, which removes the measuring error that fixed holes introduce. The countersunk slots sit flush under the fixing heads. Each plate is supplied with six M5 nuts and six 65 mm bolts, so a joint can be completed from one pack. Commonly used on workbench frames, cabinet carcasses, bed frames and shelving where discreet reinforcement is wanted on the flat rather than the edge.
