Product detail

A water-fed air polisher for grinding and polishing stone, built so the water runs through the tool to the face of the disc rather than being sprayed over it from a bottle. Keeping water at the contact point holds the dust down and keeps the surface cool, which is what stops a polished edge from burning and lets the abrasive keep cutting instead of glazing over. The 90 degree gear head puts the 4 inch pad flat on the work with the body held clear, and the side handle takes the torque of a heavy cut so the operator can steer the tool along an edge without it pulling away. Running on compressed air means there is no electric motor next to the water, which is the practical reason wet stone work is done with air tools. The brass water swivel at the back lets the supply hose follow the tool. Suits granite, marble and engineered stone. Stone shops that finish on site often pair it with the workshop machine, using the air unit where a bench cannot be brought to the slab. A tool for a fabricator polishing fitted tops in a customer kitchen, where a water-fed air head lets the work continue without closing the room down.
