Three hand brushes in one pack, each with a different bristle so the right one can be picked for the surface in front of you. The stainless steel brush cuts rust, scale and weld spatter from steel and cast iron; the brass brush works on softer metals and on surfaces where a steel brush would scratch or leave a steel trace; the nylon brush takes dust, grit and light grime off painted, plastic and aluminium parts without scoring them. Each brush carries a bristle face at both ends, so a wide panel and a narrow edge can both be worked with the same tool. Handles are moulded in black with a shaped grip. Suited to workshop clean-down, rust removal before painting and general maintenance. Motorcycle restorers keep the brass brush for carburettor bodies and the steel brush for frame work before paint goes on. A low-cost counter line for a hardware shop, since the three-brush format covers most of what a painter asks for in one purchase. In a maintenance store the set is also the first thing reached for when a machine is stripped for inspection, because the nylon grade will clean a painted casting without taking the finish off it. Selling the three grades in one pack keeps the reorder simple as well: they wear out together on mixed work, so a replacement arrives before one brush is missing from the set.
