Three-axis adjustment lets an installer move the leaf up and down, in and out, and side to side after the frame is fixed, which is how a flush panel is brought level with the surrounding wall without re-cutting the mortise. The cross layout distributes the load across two pivoting arms, so a heavy panel opens without sagging at the outer corner and closes on a quiet action rather than a slam. Because the plates sit inside the timber, the door face stays clean and can be finished in the same paint or veneer as the wall it hides in. Fixing screws are supplied with the set.
