An electric poker vibrator that drives a 50 mm head through fresh concrete on a 6 m flexible shaft, so pours in columns, footings, beams and slabs can be consolidated without a crew standing in the mix. The motor sits on a steel base away from the pour, and the shaft carries the drive down to the eccentric head, which shakes out trapped air and lets the aggregate settle tight against formwork and rebar.
