Battery powered polisher with a 125 mm hook and loop backing pad, supplied as a working set with one battery, a UK charger, a spanner and four pads. The 12V motor turns the pad between 2800 and 5500 rpm, and because there is no cable the tool can be carried around a vehicle, a boat or a showroom floor without dragging a lead behind it. That makes it useful for spot repair and finishing work where a corded 700W machine is awkward: polishing a scuff out of a door, compounding a single panel, buffing a lacquer touch-up or waxing a piece of furniture. The set contains a flat polishing pad, a waffle pad for cutting, a faux wool pad for the final gloss and a sanding disc for keying a surface before polishing, so one box covers the sequence. Rated current is 1.5 A, and the set packs into a 29.2 by 19 by 16.5 cm box weighing 1.61 kg.
