Dual-action polisher for compounding, polishing and waxing paintwork without the burn risk of a rotary machine. The 700 W motor turns a 6 inch (152 mm) backing plate on a 10.5 mm orbit, and the six-speed controller lets the operator start slow to spread a compound evenly and then lift the speed for cutting or finishing passes. Because the pad orbits rather than spinning on a single axis, heat builds on the panel far more slowly, which makes the tool usable by someone new to machine polishing as well as by an experienced detailer. Two handles - a side handle and an over-the-top loop - let the machine be held flat and controlled across a roof or bonnet, and a plastic head cover keeps the housing off the paint. Fitted with a 3 m power cord and weighing 3.6 kg.
