Mains powered hot air gun rated at 2000W with key-set temperature control and a digital display, for work where the temperature has to be set to a figure and repeated instead of guessed at with a dial. The box rates the range from 60 to 650 degrees C with two air output settings of 250 and 500 litres per minute, so one tool covers shrinking heat-shrink tubing and softening adhesive at the low end and stripping paint or loosening seized fixings at the high end. The setting is held in memory, so a temperature used on yesterday job comes back without being keyed in again, and the display shows the live figure while the gun runs. A ten second delayed shut-off lets the element cool before the tool is set down. It runs on 220 to 240 V at 50 Hz with an EU plug, sits comfortably in one hand, and is supplied boxed with one additional nozzle.
