An air blow gun with a long steel nozzle for cleaning out places a short gun cannot reach. The tube is 100 mm long and 8 mm across, formed in a curve so the tip can be aimed down a bore, behind a radiator, into a machine guard or along a rail without the hand having to follow it in. Air flow is 1300 litres per minute at a working pressure of 0 to 1.5 MPa, controlled by a two-finger trigger with a hooked guard that can be hung on a hose or a machine frame between jobs. The inlet is 1/4 inch, which matches the common air-line coupling, and the body measures 190 mm. Noise is around 78 dB at the nozzle. Used in workshops and service bays for drying parts, clearing swarf and dust from motors and gearboxes, and blowing out filters before they go back in. A gun for clearing swarf from a machine bed or dust from a blind cavity, where the long curved tube reaches where a straight nozzle cannot point.
