The IGBT inverter delivers a stable DC arc from a 110V or 220V supply, so the same machine can be used on US and European jobs, and the current adjusts from 20 to 400 amps to suit electrodes from thin sheet up to heavy plate. Anti-stick control releases the electrode if it fuses to the workpiece, and hot-start strikes the arc without scratching.
