Product detail

The 818 floor spring is a concealed hydraulic closer for glass and timber doors, sunk into the floor so that nothing shows above the threshold except the pivot plate. It carries doors up to 135 kg and from 1100 to 1200 mm wide, which covers most single-leaf entrance doors, shopfront leaves and heavy interior doors. The unit is set to hold open at 90 degrees and swings both ways from centre, with a maximum opening angle of 116 degrees. Closing speed is adjustable in two stages, so the door comes back quickly at the start of the swing and settles gently over the last few degrees, and the height can be trimmed front, back, left and right after installation to true a leaf that has dropped. The mechanism sits in a 306 x 152 x 50 mm floor box, and the cover plate finishes flush with tile or stone. Used on a glass or heavy timber entrance where the door has to swing both ways, and the floor box keeps the hardware out of the weather.
