Product detail
An integral hydraulic crimping tool for terminating copper and aluminium cable lugs on site, without a separate pump or hose. The 60 kN ram reaches full pressure from the hand lever in a few strokes, and the 12 mm stroke closes the hex dies around the lug barrel for a compact, repeatable crimp. Eight dies cover 4, 6, 10, 16, 25, 35, 50 and 70 mm2 copper lugs, with aluminium lugs rated to 50 mm2. The body is 300 mm long and weighs 1.7 kg, so it can be used overhead or inside a panel without a second pair of hands, and the head is shaped to reach lugs that sit close to a busbar. A release screw backs the ram off if a crimp is started in the wrong position. Supplied in a blow-moulded case with the die set and spare seal rings, ready for electrical contractors, panel builders, solar installers and maintenance teams.
