Key points

  • Filter-regulator drops water and particulate, then holds a steady outlet pressure
  • Lubricator adds an oil mist to protect air motors, cylinders and impact tools
  • Pressure range of 0.05 to 1 MPa covers common workshop air tool settings
  • Clear bowls show water and oil levels without breaking the line
  • 1/4 inch inlet and outlet drop straight into a standard air line
  • The 40 um copper filter element takes the particulate out before the air reaches the tool
  • The manual drain drops condensate at the end of a shift, so it does not collect in the bowl

Product detail

Two-piece air preparation unit that fits between the compressor and the tool. The filter-regulator half drops water and particulate out of the air supply through a 40 um copper filter element and then holds the outlet at a steady set pressure, with a round gauge on the front showing the setting and a manual drain under the bowl; the lubricator half adds a fine oil mist so air motors, cylinders and impact tools stay lubricated in service. The pressure range is 0.05 to 1 MPa, and the inlet and outlet ports are both 1/4 inch, so the unit drops into a standard workshop line without adapters. The bowls are clear so water and oil levels can be seen without breaking the line. Suited to spray booths, automation rigs and general air tool installations. Service technicians check the bowl during a plant walk-round, topping up the oil before a long spray session starts on the line. A common add-on when a workshop buys its first air tools, since contaminated air is the usual reason a tool runs rough after a few months. Mounted at the wall rather than at the tool, it gives every drop downstream one shared pressure setting, so two operators running the same tool see the same performance from it. The bowls are reached from the front of the assembly, so a drain or a top-up is done without breaking the line apart.
